Decision: Adjusted Grace Period

The race organizers for GGN 2025 made the following decision overnight.

Update 16:50: The grace period for the elite start has been extended to 90 minutes.

The 60-minute grace period has been extended to 90 minutes. The reason is that yesterday we were unable to convene the management team on short notice after the race ended, as we had been working all night on various solutions in different locations. Once we were finally able to begin clearing a path along the power line corridor during the night, we were able to sit down and make a joint decision to extend the time to 90 minutes.

This applies to all recreational (non-competitive) starts on Friday, and the riding time for today’s recreational races on Saturday has also been changed to 2 hours with a 90-minute grace period, in order to ensure equal conditions for everyone.

This means that yesterday’s results lists have been updated compared to those published yesterday.
