RACE CATEGORY
Enduro Type 2 Special – International Endurance Race. Open to both registered and unregistered vehicles; no driver's license required.

GOLD HELMET
In all classes, the race time is 45 minutes, including the formation lap. At the 45-minute mark, participants will be flagged off one by one. The track is approximately 2.5 km long.

Class Classification:
For riders who turn 12 by the end of the current year. Riders in the Guldhjälm class must have completed the Guldhjälm Enduro training course and hold an Enduro competition license. The Guldhjälm class is open only to participants with Swedish licenses.
Class 3, Motorcycles over 65cc to 85cc 2-stroke and from 75cc to 150cc 4-stroke (SR Enduro 9.5.1).
Class 4, Motorcycles over 50cc to 65cc 2-stroke (SR Enduro 9.5.1).
Class 5, Motorcycles up to 50cc 2-stroke (SR Enduro 9.5.1).

Price: 695 SEK. Prices include 6% VAT, as this is a sports competition.

YOUTH
In all classes, the race duration is 2 hours. At the 2-hour mark, the light at the lap counter will turn on, and the rider must then exit the course. Participants may complete one final lap before the clock reaches 1:59:59. Only completed laps count toward the result. For example, if you do not complete your 5th lap, your 4 laps will count toward the result. The course is approximately 13 km long.

Class Classification Eligibility for Class 1: Starting the year the rider turns 12. Eligibility for Class 2: starting the year the rider turns 13. Swedish riders must hold a national competition license for Enduro issued by Svemo, or a competition license for another Svemo discipline with Enduro as an additional sport, or a training license with a temporary competition add-on for the specific race and day. Riders who are 15–16 years old and hold a competition license as described above may participate in the youth class, but may not compete in both the youth and junior classes on the same competition day.
Class 1, Machine Class E0 according to SR Enduro

MOTION
In all classes, the race duration is 3 hours. At the 3-hour mark, the light at the turn will come on, and the driver must then exit the track. Participants may complete one final lap before the clock reaches 2:59:59. Only completed laps count toward the result. For example, if you do not complete your 5th lap, your 4 laps will count toward the result. Participants are responsible for watching the lights at the lap counter, which light up for each starting group when it is time to exit the track at the 3-hour mark. The final lap is automatically excluded if the driver begins their final lap after the time has passed. The track is approximately 25 km long.

Classification and Vehicles
Riders who turn at least 15 years old during the year. Classes 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12: Machine classes E1, E2, and E3 according to Chapter 3 of the Enduro Regulations, as well as MX 2 and MX1 according to Chapter 3 of the Motocross Regulations. Class 11 (Adventure) applies to motorcycles with 600 cc and above. It is now permitted to compete with electric motorcycles in all recreational classes. Enduro Electric (EEl) is subject to the same rules as machine class E3; therefore, the minimum age requirement is 18 years.

VETERAN
Veteran Class – In all classes, the race time is 60 minutes. At the 60-minute mark, the light at the finish line will turn on, and the driver must then exit the track. Participants may complete one final lap before the clock runs out. The track is approximately 13 km long. You can participate in the Veteran Class on Friday and also in the recreational classes on Saturday morning.

Class 15: According to the Cross & Trial Veterans’ regulations. Motorcycles with dual shock absorbers, air-cooled engines, drum brakes, and manufactured between 1975 and 1985.
Class 16: “EVO” In accordance with the Cross & Trial Veterans’ regulations; motorcycles manufactured before 1990 with a single shock absorber, water-cooled engine, and disc brakes.
Class 17: “Super EVO” According to the Cross & Trial Veterans’ regulations, motorcycles must be at least 21 years old.

REGISTRATION
Registration takes place on the website, www.gotlandgrandnational.se. Once a valid registration has been submitted, a confirmation email will be sent stating that the registration has been approved. Incomplete or incorrect registrations will not be considered valid. The race organizers will not contact drivers by phone to correct incomplete or incorrect registrations.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE
The registration period ends on August 31 at 12:00 a.m., at which time we will close the seeding process. Late registration is available up to 48 hours before the start, with a 500 SEK surcharge.

START CONFIRMATION
Be sure to provide a correct email address when registering. Start confirmation, race programs, and all necessary information will be sent via email. All information will be posted on the website as it becomes available, as no race programs or information will be sent by regular mail. Race numbers will be available under the start list on the website in late September. (If you object to having your name published online in the start and results lists, you must submit written notice of this to the office; see the “Office” section.) Important! Registration must be approved by a parent or guardian, who must sign the guardian form on a special form during check-in.

LICENSE Swedish riders must hold a national competition license for Enduro issued by Svemo, or a competition license for another Svemo discipline with Enduro as an additional sport, or a training license with a temporary competition add-on for the specific race and day. A temporary competition add-on is obtained through your personal profile in Svemo TA. The license and ID must be presented upon check-in at the competition venue. Foreign riders must hold a valid national license, or an FIM/FIM European license for Enduro including a starting permit, issued by their home country’s motorcycle federation. The organizer cannot issue temporary licenses for either Swedish or foreign riders. For participants in the Youth and Gold Helmet classes, the requirement for a guardian applies in accordance with SR-E 2.1.7.

SEEDING/START
Seeding is done collectively within each starting group based on the previous year’s finish in 2025 for the Youth and Recreational classes. If you did not participate last year or if you registered after September 1, you will automatically be placed in the order in which you registered and will therefore not be seeded. There is a mass start in all classes except for the Gold Helmet class, which starts in groups of two at set time intervals. The first lap is partially a master lap with a pacemaker.

EQUIPMENT
Required clothing is: An approved protective helmet; boots or ankle boots that provide good protection for both the foot and ankle; full-coverage protective clothing; gloves that provide good protection against hand injuries; a face mask or dental protection if a full-face helmet is not used; and back protection that meets SVEMO’s minimum requirements. Tire equipment is optional, but studded tires are not permitted in the competition. Detachable visors on protective goggles (tear-offs) are not permitted in enduro. NOTE! Penalties according to rulebook SR.E 2.6: 1. Warning, 2. Fine of 500:-, 3. Disqualification.
It is permitted to change goggles anywhere along the course.

TIMING
The race uses electronic timing equipment. Each competitor is responsible for carrying the borrowed transponder throughout the entire race in accordance with the organizer’s instructions, which are included in the check-in envelope and provide lap times and split times during the race. Drivers can also be tracked live via the website www.gotlandgrandnational.se. Transponders not returned will be billed 1,250 SEK retroactively by the organizer. If the transponder is not returned or the fee is not paid, you will not be allowed to start in the GGN the following year.

RACE NUMBERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SVEMO RULES
Riders are responsible for obtaining and affixing their own race numbers to their motorcycles. The motorcycle must be equipped with three race number plates. One plate must be mounted at the front, across the width of the motorcycle. The other two must be affixed along each side of the motorcycle. Background
The rectangular area where the numbers are to be placed must have minimum dimensions of 220 mm in width (B) and 120 mm in height (H) and be a solid color. There must be no advertising or names on the background, except for advertising from the promoter, organizer, or association. There must be no so-called “outline” or other color within this area; only the numbers and their color are permitted. The distance from the edge of the background to the numbers must be at least 10 mm. There must be no holes within the specified dimensions on the front license plate. Numbers: Minimum dimensions: Height 100 mm, width 50 mm (exception for the number 1), thickness 20 mm. The distance between the numbers must be at least 10 mm. The numbers must be in block style. For four-digit numbers, exceptions apply to the distance from the edge of the plate and the spacing between the digits; in such cases, the minimum distance for these measurements is 4 mm.

SPECIAL RULES FOR ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES
There is a special electric zone at the refueling loop intended solely for electric motorcycles (Loop 4, “East”). Service, battery replacement, and battery charging take place there. The organizer monitors all participants and has safety equipment on site. Battery replacement is also permitted immediately after the finish and lap arch on the left in a special zone and in the marked electric zone at the exit of Arena 2, as well as at Tibbles Quarry. However, it is not permitted on the rest of the track, and doing so will result in disqualification. We provide a power generator for charging at 230 V and 16 A at the charging zone near the fuel loop in Arena 1. Each participant is responsible for their own charging cables, which must be suitable for outdoor use and have a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm² to be used at 16 A. No private power generators are permitted.

CHANGING GLASSES
You are allowed to change your glasses along the course, either on your own or with the help of support staff. Stop in a safe place.

ENVIRONMENT
Absorbent environmental protection (environmental mat in accordance with Svemo regulations) to prevent spills on the ground must be used during service and refueling. Care must be taken when handling fuel cans to minimize spills. Drivers/teams who do not have an environmental mat will not be granted access to the service area, i.e., the pit area and refueling loop. Failure to comply with the above will result in a penalty fee of 500 SEK or disqualification (SR-E 5.6.3.1). Service is permitted only in designated, marked areas. Any off-road driving other than on the course during an ongoing competition constitutes a violation of the Off-Road Driving Act.

CHECK-IN
Check-in takes place in the check-in tent at the race venue, beginning Thursday at 12:00 PM for all Friday drivers. There, you will pick up your starter kit, which includes a race number and a loaner transponder. Please provide your start number and present a valid license and ID.

INSPECTION
Takes place at the competition site. During the inspection, the transponder—which is included in the check-in envelope—will also be checked. Important! Maximum Noise Level: The noise level is measured using the “2 meters max” method; the maximum noise level is 112 dB(A).

SCORING
“The participant in each class who has completed the most laps in the shortest time within the specified race time is the winner of that class.” It is up to each driver to keep an eye on the lap indicator when the class’s race time is up. All drivers who have completed at least one lap will be included in the results list. All competitors who start the race will receive a commemorative medal, and honorary awards will also be presented.

GGN CHALLENGE
The GGN Challenge is a combined challenge (not a race) between Thursday’s MTB event and Friday’s or Saturday’s GGN MC. The total times are combined to calculate the overall time and lap count. To participate in the GGN Challenge, you must register for both events separately and notify us at info@nordicsportevent.se that you intend to participate in this challenge.

GRACE PERIOD
60 minutes after the end of the driving time for each class. Appeals regarding the judging must be submitted within 30 minutes after the results have been posted on-site. In the event of inclement weather, the grace period may be changed; any changes will be posted on the bulletin board and announced over the PA system.

PUBLICATION OF RESULTS
The results list will be posted at the competition venue in the exhibition tent after the finish. Results will be published on the website, www.gotlandgrandnational.se. According to SVEMO rules, the protest period is 30 minutes after the results list has been posted on-site. It is each participant’s responsibility to monitor their results as described above. The results list will also be posted at the awards ceremony. When filing a protest, SVEMO’s rules apply. According to SVEMO’s rules, protests must be submitted in a sealed envelope, signed, and a fee of 1,000 SEK must be paid on-site at the time the protest is filed.

AWARDS CEREMONY
All participants in the Youth and Guldhjälm categories will receive a medal and trophy, which will be handed out when they return their transponders at the check-in tent. The awards ceremony for the Youth category will take place at Wisby Strand during Friday’s awards ceremony, followed by dinner (tickets sold separately).  Effective January 1, 2020, we are following the guidelines of the Swedish Sports Confederation and the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Therefore, there will be no awards ceremony for any class in the Guldhjälm category. Results will be published in alphabetical order. Our children and youth should be able to develop and have fun without pressure or expectations.

For the recreational and veteran classes, awards will be presented to the top three finishers at Wisby Strand during the awards ceremony on Saturday evening. Commemorative medals and trophies for winners beyond the top three in all classes will be distributed when transponders are returned at the check-in tent.

SWEDISH ENDURO CLASSIC
The Swedish Enduro Classic consists of the Stångebroslaget race in Linköping, the Ränneslättsloppet race in Eksjö, and concludes with the Gotland Grand National on Gotland. A commemorative medal is automatically sent to riders who have met the criteria for all three races in the same year.

Participants are tracked from each individual race through the final race of the year (the Gotland Grand National), which publishes the results list after the race. The criteria vary depending on the race, as the level of difficulty differs.

RESPONSIBILITY
All participants in all GGN classes must have a valid enduro license from the Swedish Motor Sports Federation (Svemo). This license ensures that you, as a rider, are insured against personal injury during the competition. As a rider, you are personally responsible for insuring your motorcycle, as the Svemo license does not cover damage to the vehicle.

UNAUTHORIZED RIDING IN THE AREA Any form of unauthorized riding in the area and on the GGN track, both during and outside of competitions, for the remainder of the year is strictly prohibited. For example, you may not ride your motorcycle to and from the starting area when it is not your turn to start. You must understand that we will not be able to organize GGN in future years if you do not follow this simple rule. We have promised landowners and authorities that you will not abuse this privilege. We will permanently ban anyone caught violating this rule from competing at GGN.

MEDICAL CARE
Doctors and medical staff will be on site on the day of the competition.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COMPETITIONS/EVENTS ORGANIZED BY NORDIC SPORT & EVENT (NSE) OR AN ORGANIZER APPOINTED BY NORDIC SPORT & EVENT.
GENERAL. These general terms and conditions (“General Terms and Conditions”) apply to competitions/events organized by NSE or an organizer designated by NSE. The term “NSE” refers to Nordic Sport & Event AB, org. no. 556761–0489. By purchasing a spot in any of our competitions/events, you agree to our General Terms and Conditions as in effect at that time. To participate in certain of our competitions/events, you must be of a certain age. If you register for a race on behalf of someone other than yourself, you are responsible for ensuring that this person has read and agrees to our terms and conditions. Please note that for some of our races/events, there is a time limit for completion, and you acknowledge and accept that we may therefore end a race before you have crossed the finish line.

1. REFUNDS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
   A purchase of a spot in our competitions/events may be canceled up to 24 hours after the purchase is completed. After that, the registration is considered final, and you are not entitled to a refund of the fee. Purchases of entry slots for sporting events on a specific date or during a specific time period are exempt from the right of withdrawal under the Act (2005:59) on Distance Contracts and Contracts Concluded Away from Business Premises. * EXCEPTION WHEN PURCHASING CANCELLATION PROTECTION.
2. CANCELLATION
   If you need to cancel, please read our rules under the heading “Cancellation Protection*” below. If you wish to cancel your participation in any of our competitions or events, please email us at info@nordicsportevent.se.
   Cancellation protection can be purchased for 150 SEK per person. The cancellation protection is non-refundable. * CANCELLATION PROTECTION
   Cancellation protection costs 150 SEK. The registration fee, minus an administrative fee of 150 SEK, will be refunded upon purchase of cancellation protection. Does not apply to travel or lodging in connection with the competition or event. Cancellation protection can only be purchased at the time of registration. Cancellations can be made up to 10 days before the competition/event with cancellation protection (a doctor’s note or official certificate is always required). Otherwise, the entry fee will not be refunded. The fee for cancellation protection is non-refundable.
   Cancellation protection applies if the following occurs.
   – Death, serious illness, or serious accident affecting yourself, your spouse, partner, your or their parents, children, siblings, or a traveling companion.
   – Call-up to the armed forces or civil defense.
   – Any other serious event beyond your control, such as a major fire or flood in your home, that makes it unreasonable to expect you to honor your booking. You must be able to substantiate your inability to travel with a certificate from a doctor, government agency, or insurance company. Certificates received more than 7 days after the cancellation date will not be considered. Cancellation protection: 150 SEK (0% VAT). * See further information under the “Liability” section. If cancellation protection has not been purchased at the time of registration, we reserve the right not to refund any portion of the registration fee.
3. CHANGING A PARTICIPANT'S NAME
   Registration for our competitions/events is personal, and you may not allow anyone else to participate in your name or transfer your registration to someone else.
4. PERSONAL INFORMATION
   By accepting these General Terms and Conditions, you consent to the publication of your name and year of birth in our start lists and results. If, for personal reasons, you do not wish your name to appear in the start lists or results, please notify us by email at info@nordicsportevent.se. Please specify which race(s) this applies to. Nordic Sport & Event complies with the Swedish Data Protection Authority’s regulations regarding the processing of personal data. By registering, you agree to have your name recorded and published in start and results lists, including on our website. Nordic Sport & Event processes your personal data to handle your inquiries and to create a registration profile. Your personal data and registration profile are used to register you for races and to match you with any previous registrations, thereby linking your past statistics to you. Your personal data and registration profile are also used to contact you and to communicate information and offers.
   We use the information you provide to gain an understanding of your interests. You may opt out of receiving further information from Nordic Sport & Event at any time by contacting us via emailat info@nordicsportevent.se. In orderto provide information we believe will be of interest to you, Nordic Sport & Event’s partners may, in certain cases, market themselves through our mailing list via Nordic Sport & Event. Nordic Sport & Event does not share your personal data with its partners or sponsors. You have the right to access your data, have it corrected, or, if you wish, have it deleted. If you choose to delete all your data, all previous statistics and history will be deleted. You also have the right to receive a copy of your data.
5. MARKETING
   We will have photographers and film crews on site during our competitions and events. By accepting these General Terms and Conditions, you agree that photos and videos from our competitions/events may be used on websites, in advertisements, and in printed materials for Nordic Sport & Event’s competitions/events, without you being entitled to any special compensation. If you do not wish to appear in any photos or videos, please notify us at info@nordicsportevent.se. Please include your name, bib number, and the race in question. All rights to the commercial sale of videos and/or photos from the competition are reserved by Nordic Sport & Event AB. Anyone wishing to purchase video and/or photo rights is asked to contact the Nordic Sport & Events office at info@nordicsportevent.se to obtain permission and sign an agreement well in advance of the competition. A written agreement must be presented upon request during inspections. All other sales within the competition area are prohibited without the organizer’s permission. 6. PAYMENT
   We accept payment by debit and credit cards or via Swish. EST Mika:Timing AB (org. no. 556496-3350) is responsible for the payment system.
   In order to offer a range of payment options, EST requires your personal, contact, and order information. The use of this information is governed by applicable data protection laws. We take security very seriously when you enter your credit card number. All transactions are encrypted, and we never store your bank account number or credit card number.
   When you place your order, the amount is deducted from your account when you confirm the purchase. As a customer, you are responsible for ensuring that there are sufficient funds in your account at the time of payment. If your account has insufficient funds or if the payment cannot be processed for any other reason, your order will not go through.
7. 
   BOOKING CONFIRMATION After you have submitted your registration, we will send you a booking confirmation via email. To ensure that we have received the correct information, please check the booking confirmation as soon as possible and notify us if anything is incorrect. An incorrect registration will not be counted as a valid registration. The organizer will not contact participants by phone or email to correct an incorrect registration.
8. LIABILITY
   Participation in any of our races or events is at your own risk, and we therefore cannot be held liable if you are injured or if your clothing or equipment is damaged during any of our races. We cannot be held liable for any damage that arises because you, in any way, violate these General Terms and Conditions or the rules or instructions applicable to any of our races/events. The organizer is exempt from liability in the event of a natural disaster, war, government decision, or any comparable event beyond our control that could not reasonably have been foreseen and that affects purchases made or commitments made on our part (such as our ability to organize a race or event). In the event of such an occurrence (force majeure), the terms and conditions for *cancellation protection do not apply, as this is entirely beyond the control of “NSE” or the organizer designated by NSE. If one of our competitions or events is canceled or rescheduled due to an event beyond our control or for the safety of the participants, you are not entitled to a refund of the entry fee or to claim any other compensation from the organizer. Nor does the organizer accept any liability for canceled transportation to and from the competition or event.
9. DISPUTES
   If you are not satisfied with any of our contests or events, please contact us at info@nordicsportevent.se or 0498-691200. If you are still not satisfied, you may contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Complaints, Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, or the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform:http://ec.europa.eu/odr. We do not commit to participating in alternative dispute resolution procedures, but will make a final decision on this matter should a dispute arise.
