Hansa Event AB Becomes a New Partner in Nordic Sport & Event AB.
Nordic Sport & Event is gaining a new, strong partner in Hansa Event, which is acquiring 40% of the shares. The acquisition is taking place as Swedrian Holding AB and Kusinerna Kommunikation AB sell their entire holdings of 20% each. Nordic Sport & Event (NSE) owns the brands and events Gotland Grand National (GGN)—the world’s largest enduro competition—and Golfa Runt Gotland (GRG)—perhaps Sweden’s largest golf tournament.
“We welcome Hansa Event as a new partner in the company and are very much looking forward to the initiatives we’ve discussed carrying out together between our two companies. Both companies are working to develop the tourism industry on Gotland, and we see many synergies between us that will benefit the entire island,” says Conny Bohlin, CEO of Nordic Sport & Event.

Nordic Sport & Event is a very exciting company that has demonstrated great competence by organizing GGN during a pandemic—perhaps the only major event of its kind in all of Europe—and now they are once again showing their ability to take decisive action as Tofta Skjutfält is being closed for GGN. “We look forward to learning about the business, but we also see the opportunities available to both of us now that we’re acquiring a stake in NSE,” says Mattias Thunholm, CEO of Hansa Event.
