SVT will broadcast GGN 2024

SVT Sport will broadcast the Gotland Grand National 2.0 in 2024.
SVT Sport and Nordic Sport & Event AB have signed an exclusive agreement for the broadcast rights to the world’s largest enduro race, the Gotland Grand National. SVT Sport will provide over 5 hours of live coverage, divided into 1.5 hours in the morning and approximately 4 hours during the elite race.
“SVT Sport is continuing its commitment to the Gotland Grand National, and we have now signed an agreement with the organizer, Nordic Sport & Event, under which we will offer our viewers extensive live coverage on TV and on SVT Play,” says Jan Olsson of SVT Sport.
“We’ve been working with SVT Sport for many years, and it feels absolutely fantastic that we’ve now been able to sign a one-year agreement,” says Conny Bohlin, CEO of Nordic Sport & Event, “especially given the situation we as organizers have found ourselves in this year with the move of GGN from Tofta to Hejdeby.” It’s been a major challenge for us to pull off this year’s race, and of course there’s been a lot of uncertainty since the case has been pending in various courts for a long time. Now we have permission to hold GGN 2.0 in 2024, and it feels incredibly good that SVT Sport will be able to broadcast this unique motorsport event from Gotland on such short notice.”
