Appendix to Submitted Protest by Rider 228
Rider Hans Erik Holmqvist, start number 228, has competed in Class 18 (Electric Class).
He has followed the Supplementary Regulations, which state in the second paragraph that all riders in the Electric Motorcycle Class (Class 18) must enter the refueling loop on their first lap for a mandatory stop in the electric zone.
Other participants in the electric class did not follow this rule and therefore gained an advantage in the Class 18 results.
Decision:
The rider’s time will be adjusted by deducting the time spent during his mandatory stop from his total result.
