“It is with great joy and pride that we can now also welcome both the German and Danish men’s champions to this year’s GGN,” says Conny Bohlin, CEO of Nordic Sport & Event, which is organizing GGN for the 10th year. The field of competitors leading up to the GGN has probably never been more exciting, and that sets the stage for the crowd party at Tofta Skjutfält to be a great success,” Conny Bohlin continues. “Agent Gjermund Frostad, who assists Nordic Sport & Event with international participants and the international press, announces through Eddi and Mathias that they are looking forward to coming to the world’s biggest enduro competition, the Gotland Grand National, in October. “Both have the goal of finishing in the top 10,” Gjermund adds.

“If you, as part of the audience, are unable to experience this race in person, SVT Sports will broadcast it live for over 5 hours from Gotland and GGN,” says Conny Bohlin. Conny concludes that the GGN 40th Anniversary will be exactly the race we want.

The Gotland Grand National has also increased the prize money for the top male and female finishers, and for the 2023 GGN, the top male and female finishers will each take home 75,000 SEK. Second place will receive 35,000 SEK, and third place will receive 15,000 SEK.
