GGN CONTINUES ITS INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION—NOW PARTICIPANTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD CAN FLY TO GOTLAND AND COMPETE IN THE WORLD'S LARGEST ENDURO RACE!
Do you dream of racing in the world's largest enduro competition, but don't have a way to transport your motorcycle to Sweden?
Now the dream is coming true.
Ahead of the 2026 Gotland Grand National, Nordic Sport & Event is launching a brand-new international Full Race Service Package, where riders from around the world can fly to Gotland and enjoy a complete racing experience with a factory-prepared Husqvarna motorcycle, mechanics, service, and support—just like the professional riders. The package is being offered in collaboration with Husqvarna Motorcycles Scandinavia and Bloms MX.
“We want to make the Gotland Grand National accessible to the whole world. In the past, the biggest challenge for many international riders has been the logistics of transporting their motorcycles. Now all they have to do is book a flight to Sweden—we’ll take care of the rest,” says Conny Bohlin, CEO of Nordic Sport & Event.
The Gotland Grand National is the world’s largest enduro race, with around 3,000 participants from a wide range of countries. For three intense hours, the participants ride side by side through forests, over rocks, through mud, and along fast sections of the just over 25-kilometer course in Hejdeby on Gotland. For many enduro riders, the race is a lifelong goal—an experience that ranks high on many people’s bucket lists.
The new concept is aimed at both elite riders and recreational riders who want to experience the race without having to transport a motorcycle, tools, or spare parts.
The package includes, among other things:
– Factory-prepped Husqvarna enduro motorcycle with fuel
– Full mechanic service throughout the race weekend
– Airport transfer on Gotland
– Test ride and individual setup of the motorcycle
– Personalized GGN jersey with name and start number
– Winter jacket from Shot Race Gear
– Access to Husqvarna Scandinavia’s service depot together with Bloms MX’s professional service team.
“We want a rider from, say, Australia, the U.S., or Japan to be able to decide to race in the Gotland Grand National, book a flight, and land on Gotland, where a race-ready motorcycle and a professional service team are waiting. It should be just as easy to experience the GGN as it is to book a ski trip to the Alps,” says Conny Bohlin.
This initiative marks another step in the Gotland Grand National’s international growth. In 2026, the organizer will also invest record amounts in international TV production, offer record-high prize money, and feature a growing international field of riders, including some of the world’s top enduro riders.
“Our vision is for the Gotland Grand National to be a race that every enduro rider in the world wants to compete in at least once in their lifetime. Now we’re removing one of the biggest obstacles to making that dream a reality,” says Conny Bohlin.
