GOTLAND GRAND NATIONAL CONTINUES ITS GLOBAL EXPANSION – RIDERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD CAN NOW FLY TO SWEDEN AND COMPETE IN THE WORLD’S LARGEST ENDURO EVENT
Have you always dreamed of competing in the world’s largest enduro race but thought it would be impossible to transport your motorcycle to Sweden?
Now that dream has become a reality.
For the 2026 Gotland Grand National, Nordic Sport & Event is launching a brand-new Full Race Service Package, allowing riders from anywhere in the world to simply fly to Gotland and enjoy a complete factory-level race experience. The package includes a professionally prepared Husqvarna enduro motorcycle, full mechanical support, race service, and technical assistance throughout the event—just like the world’s top professional riders.
The initiative is being launched in partnership with Husqvarna Motorcycles Scandinavia and Bloms MX.
“We want to make the Gotland Grand National accessible to riders from every corner of the world. Until now, the biggest challenge for many international competitors has been the logistics of transporting their motorcycles to Sweden. With this new concept, all you need to do is book your flight—we’ll take care of everything else,” says Conny Bohlin, CEO of Nordic Sport & Event.
The Gotland Grand National is the world’s largest enduro race, attracting around 3,000 riders from numerous countries every year. Over the course of three intense hours, competitors race side by side through forests, over rocks, through mud, and along high-speed sections on the more than 25-kilometer course in Hejdeby on the island of Gotland.
For many enduro riders, competing in GGN is the ultimate bucket-list experience—something they dream of doing at least once in their lifetime.
The new Full Race Service Package is designed for both elite riders and amateur competitors who want to experience the event without the hassle of transporting motorcycles, tools, or spare parts.
The package includes:
– Factory-prepared Husqvarna enduro motorcycle with fuel-
– Full professional mechanical support throughout the race weekend
– Airport transfers on Gotland
– Bike testing and personalized suspension and setup
– Personalized GGN jersey with the rider’s name and race number
– Premium Shot Race Gear winter jacket
– Access to the Husqvarna Motorcycles Scandinavia service area, operated in collaboration with the professional mechanics from Bloms MX
“We want a rider from Australia, the United States, Japan—or anywhere else in the world—to be able to decide to race the Gotland Grand National, book a flight, arrive on Gotland, and find a fully prepared race bike and a professional service team waiting. We want it to be as easy as booking a ski vacation in the Alps,” says Conny Bohlin.
The new concept marks another important milestone in Gotland Grand National’s international expansion.
For 2026, the organizers are also making record investments in international live TV production, record prize money, and the strongest international field of riders in the event’s history, featuring some of the world’s leading enduro stars.
“Our vision is for the Gotland Grand National to become a race that every enduro rider in the world wants to experience at least once in their lifetime. With this initiative, we are removing one of the biggest barriers to making that dream a reality,” concludes Conny Bohlin.
