TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES' NEW MAIN PARTNER

TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES IS THE NEW MAIN PARTNER OF THE GOTLAND GRAND NATIONAL
The world’s largest enduro race, the Gotland Grand National (GGN), and Triumph Motorcycles have signed a three-year agreement covering 2026–2028.

Triumph Motorcycles entered the motocross and enduro scene as recently as 2024, but the company is a well-established motorcycle brand with roots dating back to 1902.

Since entering the motocross and enduro market in 2024, Triumph has rapidly gained significant market share, and the company is now stepping in as the main partner of the world’s largest enduro race. This investment demonstrates Triumph’s determination to continue growing within the segment.

“This agreement means an incredible amount to GGN and to our company, Nordic Sport & Event, which has owned and organized the race since 2013. Just a few weeks ago, we announced our major investment in 12 hours of live TV coverage from Gotland and GGN, where we will now also showcase children, youth riders, and amateur participants alongside the elite riders. Triumph’s significant commitment to us and GGN proves that we have made the right decisions all along—from building the new arena to making this major investment in broadcasting the broader grassroots side of the sport,” says Conny Bohlin, CEO of Nordic Sport & Event.

“When we were given the opportunity to become GGN’s main partner, we had already been discussing internally that it would be a great platform for us to gain greater visibility. We have been partners with GGN since 2023 (the final year at the Tofta shooting range) and have watched the new GGN grow in Hejdeby on Gotland. The race and the event are massive and highly important for the entire industry, so taking this major step with our brand feels absolutely right for us at this point in time,” says Fredrik Widerberg, Technical & Off-Road Program Manager, Triumph Motorcycles Nordic.

KTM has been a main partner of GGN and has played an important role in the competition’s development and growth, even saving the event 20 years ago. The company is now handing over the role of main partner to Triumph Motorcycles, while KTM will continue as a partner of GGN. “We are proud of what we have helped build together with GGN over the years and look forward to the competition’s continued development,” says Anders Sarbäcken, CEO of KTM Scandinavia.

The Gotland Grand National will take place October 22–24, 2026, and attracts more than 3,000 participants from around 18 countries each year. The event is of great importance to the local economy and generates tens of thousands of guest nights on Gotland every year.
