Veteran classes

In Gotland Grand National’s Veteran Classes, the participants do not compete against each other based on the drivers age but on the motorcycle. Here, the older motorcycles are ridden against each other on Friday and are available in 4 different classes.

The course for the Veteran Class is a loop of approx 10 km with lap count, refueling trail, finish line and is divided into 5 sections. The courses vary in soil condition as well as width and banding. Around the track, motorcycle-borne officials patrol who have radio contact with the healthcare service and the competition management. If you drive through the tracks, you must pass in the same place.

The driving time in all classes is 60 min. At 60 minutes, the light comes on when turning and the driver must then drive off the track. The participant may go out on one last lap before the clock has passed 0:59:59 and complete that lap. The last lap is automatically deducted if the driver goes out on his last lap when the time has elapsed.
