SVT Sport to Broadcast GGN

SVT Sport to Broadcast Gotland Grand National 2.0 in 2024

SVT Sport and Nordic Sport & Event AB have signed an exclusive agreement for the broadcasting rights to the world’s largest Enduro competition, the Gotland Grand National. SVT Sport will air live coverage for over 5 hours, split into 1.5 hours in the morning and approximately 4 hours during the elite race.

– ”SVT Sport continues its commitment to the Gotland Grand National, and now, together with the organizer Nordic Sport & Event, we have signed an agreement that will provide our viewers with extensive live broadcasts on TV and SVT Play,” says Jan Olsson, SVT Sport.

-”We have worked with SVT Sport for many years, and securing this one-year agreement feels fantastic,” says Conny Bohlin, CEO of Nordic Sport & Event. “Given the situation we’ve faced this year with moving the GGN from Tofta to Hejdeby, it has been a major challenge to organize this year’s race. There has certainly been uncertainty as the case has been in various courts for a long time. Now we have permission to host GGN 2.0 in 2024, and it feels incredible that SVT Sport, on short notice, will broadcast this unique motorsport event from Gotland.”
