Gotland Grand National MTB

We are now introducing regular MTB to the Gotland Grand National in collaboration with the Swedish Cycling Federation. The competition will be cycled on Thursday, October 24, 2024 (the day before GGN starts). It will be a lap race with 2 hours of cycle time. The brand new, unique track will be separated from the enduro track, which means faster, easier, and a lot of bikes. The length of the track is about 7 km.

What is GGN MTB?

In all classes, the cycling time is 2 hours, and the competition takes place on a course approximately 7 km long. At 2 hours, the light comes on during the lap, and the cyclist must then cycle off the track. The participant may go out for one last lap before the clock has passed 1:59:59 and complete that lap. The participants are responsible for looking at the lights at the lap lit for each starting group when it is time to cycle off the course at 2 hours. The last lap is automatically counted out if the cyclist goes out on his last lap after the time has passed 2 hours.

The classes are divided into three different categories with GGN Sports Club as the organizer in collaboration with the Swedish Cycling Federation (SCF).

The competition is divided into the following classes
Amateur, Woman
Amateur, Men

Sports, Woman
Sports, Men

Youth Sports, Girls
Youth Sports, Boys
